I really really love doing still lives and things like this.
This is about 60-70 iterations of paws drawn from tons and tons of references, mostly wolf pictures. I don't claim any of these as my own, so please don't trace them or anything. I made notes along the way cause it helps me to process what I'm learning and I figured if someone else gets something out of this then that's a good thing.
Try it sometime Pick something you want to draw better, and then draw 25-100 of them from accurate references. Try to look beyond just the silhouette or the lines - try to understand the structure of whatever you're drawing and how to build it. Break it down into shapes or drop a few lines in there to connect points and study angles. It's a fun challenge. I think it's fun, anyway.
It's a practice sketch, so I don't know if there's much to critique, but if you have thoughts then I'd love to hear them.
They're all so wonderful, paws are so cute I really need to study them more... I need to study anatomy in general more @.@ I wish I could get a skeletal model and just mold it however I wanted everytime I draw

-hugs tightly- Fox I love you. lmfao One thing that would be cool to see and I know alot of people have trouble with is the black leg in different positions like sitting or in different angles.

hmmmm yes, legs themselves are a whole 'nother ballgame from the paws. I do series like these in my sketchbook all the time. If I work on those I'll definitely post them online for people to see : )

Also, the little face on the sketchy wolf body made me laugh. XD
